Lenovo's newest ThinkPad the X9 brings a lot of changes with it. Gone is the red Trackpoint, and instead we have a large accurate haptic trackpad. It also really surprised us by how good its creature comforts are. The 4K webcam you get with the configuration with the better screen is amazing. The X9's speakers are great. You get a Thunderbolt port on either side of the laptop, which is convenient. Overall, we feel this is a great for light users i.e. those doing mostly web browsing, office work, and studying. That being said, there are some strong options at its price point, which we've listed in our alternatives
